Polyvinylchloride unplasticised is a specially formulated plastic which has been developed to offer superb properties of strength and resistance to impact, stabilised to ensure the colour and performance is not affected by extreme degrees of cold and heat.

Quite simply, PVC-U offers a combination of properties which is quite unique, making it the perfect solution not only for replacement doors, but increasingly in new installations aswell.
In fact, original doors in PVC-U have been installed in Germany for decades, proving ideal against the severest winter conditions.
Timber, steel and aluminium all have qualities but none have the combination of lasting good looks, superb insulation characteristics, styling versatility and competitive cost offered by PVC-U.

What
about maintenance? Virtually none is required as the frames will
not warp, crack, pit or rust.
No painting or re-painting is required even if scratched, as the profile is coloured throughout. And, as PVC-U frames are fixed direct to the brickwork - unlike some other materials - there are no wooden sub-frames to maintain either.
Your only
'tools' necessary to keep your PVC-U windows looking good for
years? A sponge and warm, soapy water to give them an occasional
wipe over!
